What is a Car Boot Sale?
A car boot sale is like a giant garage sale where people load up their car boots and trailers with clothes, toys, household items, sporting equipment etc that the family has grown out of, and sells it from their car or a table in front of their car.
There are hundreds of stalls to choose from and entry for shoppers is free!
The market is open to shoppers from 7am until 2pm.
One man's trash is another man's treasure......
Convenient off-street parking
Plenty of parking for shoppers and other visitors is available in the school grounds for a gold coin ($2) donation. This parking gives easy access to the markets and saves you from copping a parking fine!
Who runs the Car Boot Sale?
The Car Boot Sale is a fundraising activity for Narrabeen Sports High School P&C Association.
The administration, cooking and helping out on the day is done largely by parent and student volunteers, so we ask you to respect that most of us are unpaid helpers.
The School holds a barbecue stall where you can buy a bacon and egg or sausage sandwich for breakfast or lunch. There are cold drinks available at the barbecue stall or you can grab a cappuccino from one of the coffee vendors you will find around the place. There are often stalls with delicious home-made cakes and treats to eat with your coffee.
Wear a hat and sunscreen if it's hot or bring an umbrella if it looks like rain. This is an outdoor market and will go ahead in most weather. If you are prepared for the weather you will enjoy your day.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS......
Can you help?
We can ALWAYS use extra helping hands. If you could help us out for a few hours at the next market with the barbecue, showing stallholders to their space, car parking, clearing up or administration, please contact Sue 0466 393 971.
